We're excited to continue having Ms. Ashley as a key member of our Garfield Team! Ashley Wischmeyer has been teaching all of our classes, from the toddler classes to the 4-year-olds, for the past few years and is thrilled to continue learning and growing with our students. A Michigan State alumni (Go Green!), Ashley has spent 12 years working in the public school system, including roles as a kindergarten assistant and 4-year-old preschool teacher.
Outside of teaching, Ashley is married with two daughters, and a golden retriever named Chloe. She enjoys camping, walking, and spending time at the pool. She's also a fan of the 3 T’s: the color Teal, Target, and Trader Joe’s! We're so lucky to have her here and can't wait to see all the exciting things she has planned for her classes and kiddos this year!

Meet Ms. Kristen, a passionate educator with nearly a decade of experience in early childhood education. Since 2015, she has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds as a teacher assistant, working hand-in-hand with the talented Ms. Ashley for the past eight years. A proud Livonia native, Ms. Kristen's journey began in Livonia Public Schools and culminated with a degree from Michigan State University. Her commitment to fostering a positive learning environment is evident in her daily interactions with students, as she inspires them to explore, create, and grow.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Kristen is a devoted family woman who loves to spend quality time with her husband and two energetic sons. When she's not shaping future leaders, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors through golfing, reading captivating novels, or kayaking on serene waters. Her diverse interests not only enrich her personal life but also bring a unique perspective to her teaching style, making her an invaluable asset to our educational community.
